Manage my menus / dishes

Before we start - make sure that you are signed into your page - so that you can edit your emenu browser website. You can tell that you are signed in, by the large Edit / Dashboard bar that appears at the top of the page.

Add a new eMenu Block

Your emenu browser website is made up of different types of Blocks. The most commonly used Blocks that you will have on your website will be 'Content' and 'eMenu', but there are also other types that allow you to display other information such as maps, forms and videos.

An eMenu Block allows you to display any products that you have added, under a title - for example, Desserts. If your emenu browser site is also set up to take online orders, it will also allow your customers to place an order for these items online.

Adding an eMenu Block to a page, is like any other content:

1. Firstly, go to the page you want to change (on first install, this would be 'Our Menu'). Click the large 'Edit' button in the top left hand corner. This will activate the 'Edit Mode' for the page.
2. At the bottom of the main section of the page, click on the 'Add to main' box. Select the 'Add Block' option in the pop-up - this will allow you to add another part to the page. Select the eMenu Block.
3. You can now add a title for this new Block and then start adding products to the eMenu, by clicking on 'Add dishes to menu'. You can choose individual items, or use the checkboxes on the left hand column, and use the dropdown box at the top to 'choose' the selected items.
   Tip! Alternatively, you can create a new product via this menu (link on top right of the form).

4. So now we've added all the products that we want to this section of the menu, but let's take a closer look at some of the other options:

• Show Product Description - Option to display the description of the dishes (that you might have entered when creating your products).
• Show Thumbnail Image - Option to display the thumbnail images of the dishes (that you might have added when creating your products).
• Show Product Prices - Option to display prices for your dishes. If the price of your product is £0.00, your emenu browser will display these as 'Market price'.
• Allow Online Orders - You can choose whether a product is available to order online. If online ordering is disabled for your emenu browser, all products will automatically be unavailable to order online. Products priced £0.00 will not be available to order online.

Tip! Different eMenu Blocks can have different settings - for example, if your lunch menu is not available for online ordering, but your evening menu is, your emenu browser is flexible enough to allow this!

Edit an eMenu Block

1. Click the large 'Edit' button in the top left hand corner. This will activate the 'Edit Mode' for the page.
2. Select the Block you wish to change and click on it. You will be given the option to edit it. You can now add or remove dishes, change the settings for this section. Click 'Save'.
   Tip! You may also wish to take a look at Add / Edit Products for more information on editing products.
3. Finally! Now that you have saved the page you need to publish the changes so that they can be seen by visitors to your emenu browser website. Hover your cursor over the 'Edit' button in the top left hand corner and then click on the 'Publish my edits'.

Shuffle products on an eMenu Block

If you need to change the order of your products in a given eMenu Block:

1. Go to the page you want to change. Click the large 'Edit' button in the top left hand corner. This will activate the 'Edit Mode' for the page.
2. Click on the eMenu Block. you wish to edit, and then select 'Edit'.
3. You should not be able to move/shuffle your dishes in this eMenu Block, by using the up/down arrows to the right of the popup box.
4. Once you are finished, click 'Save', to apply your changes, and then publish the changes. (Hover your cursor over the 'Edit' button in the top left hand corner and then click on the 'Publish my edits'.)

Make a product 'invisible'
